Barbering License
Upon successful completion of the barbering course and meeting any additional requirements set by the state licensing board and/or TOL Barber College, students are eligible to take the required exams for obtaining their barbering license. This license enables them to pursue careers as professional barbers in salons or barbershops or even start their own businesses within the field of grooming and styling.
State Board Certifiication
The Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board is the regulatory agency responsible for overseeing and licensing individuals in the cosmetology and barbering professions within the state of Ohio. The board ensures that professionals meet specific education, training, and examination requirements to ensure public safety and maintain industry standards.
Operations & Management
TOL Barber College aims to instill much needed knowledge into our students to be able to have successful operations and management of a barbershop. Barbershops require careful attention to staffing, scheduling, inventory management, sanitation practices, customer service, marketing and promotion, financial management, continuing education, and many other inportant details that contributes to a barbershop's success.
Continuing education recources
Continuing Education Resources provide access to workshops within the shool, 200 hour refresher course, or advanced courses that allow graduates to further develop their skills and stay updated on industry trends.

Alumni Network Support Fosters an active alumni network where former students can connect with each other for mentorship opportunities or job referrals.
Entrepreneurial guidance
Entrepreneurial Guidance offer guidance on starting a barbershop business for those interested in pursuing entrepreneurship after graduation, Also, how to file your taxes. We also provide support and advice to individuals who are starting or running their own businesses. This can include offering insights on business planning, marketing strategies, financial management, and overall business development.
